Vision and Location

Renaissance Respiratory was formed out of a need for new vision and to raise the bar of excellence in home respiratory care and service provision. Renaissance Respiratory operates in the Greater Toronto Area, York, Peel and Halton regions and environs.

Clinic Manager

Shandelle Johnson is a highly respected healthcare leader and regulatory expert with over 25 years of experience advancing quality, accountability, and system improvement across Ontario’s healthcare sector.

Grounded in her clinical experience as a registered nurse, Shandelle brings a practical, patient-centered perspective to her leadership. She has played a key role in the design and implementation of innovative quality improvement and assurance programs at the provincial level, working closely with healthcare professionals, government, and system partners to strengthen standards of care and enhance patient safety.

Her early career included direct patient care roles in hospital and rehabilitation settings, as well as experience in the community, where she supported patients receiving care in their homes and coordinated community-based services. This experience provided her with a strong appreciation for continuity of care across the health system and the unique needs of patients and families in community settings.

Shandelle holds a Master of Health Studies in Leadership and has completed several executive and professional leadership programs. She is known for her ability to turn strategy into action, helping organizations and professionals navigate change and deliver high-quality care.

With a strong foundation in nursing and health system leadership, Shandelle brings deep expertise in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and program development within complex healthcare environments. We’re thrilled to welcome her as she takes on this new leadership role with the Renaissance Respiratory Team, helping to foster meaningful connections with our clients and community partners.

Founder

Beverly Pacheco, has more than 25 years in the community and 35 years of experience in the provision of respiratory care. A graduate of the Michener Institute, she has worked in many areas of Respiratory Therapy, including critical care of the adult and neonate, sales and marketing of respiratory equipment at a national level, Professional Practice Leadership, as well as Management of the Respiratory Therapy Department. She has worked in various settings including the private sector in Canada and the U.S., hospitals in Ontario and Saudi Arabia. Beverly also has specialized training and experience in Sleep Medicine Technology.

For the past 10 years, Beverly has served the communities of Peel, York and Halton regions in home respiratory care coordination, marketing and sales. She was successful in helping clients and families cope with the transition to home on oxygen therapy as well as helping to improve the quality of life of those individuals living with respiratory disease. Beverly has an indomitable entrepreneurial spirit, a zest for success, and an unwavering passion for the provision of quality respiratory care both in hospital and the home. With Beverly at the helm, Renaissance Respiratory was propelled to prominence in respiratory home care in the Greater Toronto Area.
